Game Day Appetizers
Now, although I am not a big fan of football, nor have I ever been on anyone’s “team” (except for the Raider’s when I was a kid because my dad loves them…please don’t judge me I know absolutely NOTHING about football) I do love the food that comes with Super Bowl parties! Luckily, I have cooked up quite a good amount of appetizer recipes that are also pretty good for you. So I’m including these Game Day Appetizers HERE! All in one place for your indulgence.
Just click the photos for the recipes! Happy Super Bowl!
This BBQ chicken pizza is super simple with homemade crust! If you don’t want to make your own chicken, and don’t want to make your own crust – you gotta make your own BBQ sauce because it’s easy. Take some rotisserie chicken and toss it in your BBQ sauce, buy a premade pizza crust and load it up! So delicious and simple.
These sweet potato tots are a hit with the healthy eaters and the not-so-healthy eaters. I made maple cinnamon mayo and honey chipotle ketchup to go with them. Damn delicious!
These aren’t your run of the mill garlic parmesan chicken wings. They have a little kick! They’ve got some chipotle in there. A little spice makes everything nice.
These tacos are delicious, pretty good for you, and perfect finger foods for the big game. Game Day Appetizers like this don’t come around every day! Or maybe they do… but… eat them anyway!
These butternut squash fries are so delicious! They’re different because most people make sweet potato fries or just plain old french fries – but these are different which makes these a suprising, and delicious, addition to your Game Day Appetizers for the big game!
These sesame chicken wings are sticky, flavorful and a good addition to your wing lineup at your Super Bowl party! Game Day Appetizers are the star of the show after all!
Okay, you can’t beat good old fashioned nachos – BUT if you’re trying to be a little better during the big game, sweet potatoes are a tasty substitute. I promise – you’ll thank me later.
This guacamole is very special. It’s very special beause it has a special ingredient in it. Well, the ingredient alone isn’t that special. In fact, you probably already have it in your spice collection. Add it to your guacamole and I promise it’ll be better. Excuse the photo quality, this was literally one of my very first posts! Pretty sure I took the photo on my cellphone at the time!
This is a lightly cooked salsa that incorporates chilies, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, and chipotle seasoning because I am literally obsessed with it. Perfect with the homemade guac you’ll be making!
So there you have it! My favorite Game Day Appetizers from my own blog! I sure hope you’ll try some of them!
